We are creating an activity for pharmacists about the opioid crisis. How can we identify this for potential learners?

As of this January (2020), ACPE-accredited providers now have the ability to assign a specific topic designator (08) for pain management/opioid CE activities so that they will appear as such in CPE Monitor.  The new topic designator is: Pain Management/Opioids: “Covers all activities that address any component regarding the treatment and management of pain, including the prescribing, distribution and use of opioid medications, and/or the risks, symptoms, and treatment of opioid misuse/addiction.”
