Does new Commendation Criterion 35 refer to new innovation inside the current accreditation period?

Yes.  The demonstrated creativity and innovation must be new to the provider’s CME program during the current accreditation term.  An example of this would be the implementation of a new format or a series of new formats into a provider’s CE program.
