What is the main difference between direct providership and joint providership?

The ACCME defines a directly provided activity as one in which the accredited provider plans, implements and evaluates the activity.  In contrast, a jointly provided activity is one in which an accredited provider and a non-accredited entity plan, implement and evaluate the activity.
