In ACCME’s PARS, what is the difference between an “open” and “closed” activity?

As a provider, you will notice that activities are designated as either “open” or “closed”.  The difference is important:  Open activities have at least the minimum amount of data entered (activity name, type, location (if applicable)).  Closed activities have all the required information entered, including the information gathered during and after the activity (including providership, commercial support final participant information, etc.).
