Actually, it’s ok with the ACCME if the CME team is not the lead on the management of the research project. However, it is required that the research be related to the effectiveness of and/or best practices in CME.
To comply with Criterion 33, does the actual CME team need to construct/direct the research, or is it ok for another group (within the provider) to lead the effort?
