Are we allowed to use just PART of an activity as an example of compliance with a commendation criterion?

Yes – providers can use part of an activity, for example, a regularly scheduled series or a track at an annual meeting, in this situation.  The ACCME states that while they expect the demonstration of compliance to meet the requirements, they have not set a specific threshold for what proportion of an activity needs to be compliant.  However, they say, “…we expect that if a part of an activity is used to demonstrate compliance, that part is meaningful to the overall activity.”
