The accredited provider must be able to evaluate changes in learner (or patient) outcomes – this is true. However, there are many ways in which this can happen, and not all ways involve a written survey or evaluation. For example, the ACCME states that providers can “facilitate short discussions during the education that are moderated by a facilitator who reports back new strategies discussed by the learners”. Providers could also ask each learner to share a reflective statement via text, email, or even verbally.
