What does the phrase “nature of the relationship” mean when it comes to providing disclosure to learners in Standard 3.5c?

The ACCME is specifically referring to the role played or service provided by an individual in exchange for compensation from an ineligible company.  This compensation could take many forms, such as consulting fees, employment, advisory committee participation; the ACCME has not set a minimum dollar amount, so any compensation must be disclosed (but the value does not).
