According to the ACPE, it is the responsibility of the pharmacist and pharmacy technician to maintain their own license (and/or certificate), and to follow up with the provider if there is any discrepancy in CE credit. The provider may award or deny credit to a participant claiming late credit, if they so desire, after 60 days following the CPE activity. The provider will still need to ensure that the necessary requirements have been met for credit. A provider may request access to CPE Monitor if the activity in question occurred within the previous six months and there is also an appropriate reason for requesting access.
There are sometimes fees associated with late access, and complete information about these fees can be found in the ACPE’s Policies and Procedures guide.
