As in many of the commendation categories, the ACCME gives the provider room to be creative in their design of activities that meet learners’ needs while engaging health professions students as planners and faculty for CME activities. There is no prescribed amount of involvement required to satisfy this criterion.
Additionally, the ACCME has clarified that in Criterion 25, “students of the health professions” refers not only to medical students or residents, but also to students from ANY health profession.
